Second Lifeとは

Second Lifeとは米国リンデン社が運営する仮想空間サービスです。
ユーザーは「アバター」という人型を使い、
「SIM」という３次元空間内で遊びます。
他人とコミュニケーションをしたり、乗り物やファッションを楽しみます。
SecondLifeの持つ、「自由さ」は他の仮想空間サービスより魅力的です。

私にとっては創作の自由は特に魅力的です。
・・・企業や特定の団体が供給するものをただ消費することだけ。
それでは味気のないものです。
SecondLifeには様々な創作を行うことが出来ます。
創作はただ物を作るだけに限りません。

仮想空間サービスの面白いところの１つは時間が早いことです。
様々なイベント、創作物、コミュニティが様々に変化してゆきます。
現実のシュミレーションとして、練習するにはもってこいであります。

楽しみ方としては勝利条件をどこに持ってくるかで変わります。
人間は「楽しい」と決めれば楽しいし、
「つまらない」と決めたら何を見ても駄目です。
